CNCTOR 2030

This machine has been designed and built for cutting and milling operations in plastic materials (PVC, Plexiglas, etc.), composites (BOND), and wood-based materials (MDF, chipboard, solid wood), as typically required by the furniture manufacturing and advertising production industries.

The main objectives during its design process were:
- Full utilization of standard sheet sizes for both plastics and wood-based panels. Plexiglas, PVC, compact polycarbonate, stadur usually come in 2030x3030 mm sizes. MDF and chipboard are typically up to 2080x2800 mm.
- Ease of operation. Thanks to the software support, numerous operations are fully automated, thus relieving the operator from many tasks (automatic homing, measurement, calibration, automatic adjustment of cutting tool length, automatic exhaust control, vacuum, and cooling).

- Simplicity in maintenance and servicing. Use of high-maintenance or hard-to-procure components and assemblies has been avoided wherever possible. Many components have been over-dimensioned to ensure they operate effortlessly, thus reducing the risk of premature failures. This guarantees years of reliable operation before any replacement is necessary.
- Modular/disassemblable design. Due to their dimensions, placement of such equipment often requires wide access routes. We have managed to produce a machine with these useful dimensions that can still be brought in and assembled through standard access ways.
- Upgradeable. In order to control costs, some economies have been applied in the construction of the machine. Nevertheless, during production, the machine is prepared for future upgrades with more powerful, faster elements or components that enable new operations (e.g., spindle upgrades).
